Kara Harkins

I needed to bolt two shelves together ... then started eyeing the duct tape ... it actually seems to have worked #handymanssecretweapon

About You Ack ... I never know what to write in these things.
I am a small-town girl living in the big city.
Always finding new things to be interested in. Two of my lhe latest things I am having fun studying are Wicca (I am an adept at Chantry of the Silver Veil) and Reiki (currently at the 3rd level).
I seem to have a knack for coming up with the non-obvious questions and interpreting instructions for an assignment differently (usually in a way that causes me more work). In studying Wicca, my teacher's teacher saw me as being payback for when she had my teacher as a student.
My decision making process is normally to weigh the pros and cons much longer than anyone else will do and eventually bring it down to a single point. As soon as that point resolves into what it will be, I already have thought about everything and can immediately give my answer. Depending when someone looks at this process it will either look like I am doing a lot of waffling or making snap judgements. For example, I decided to put off GRS until I had money for it (I was unemployed for awhile) .... but as soon as I was employed again I was able to contact the surgeon, schedule a date, and so on. One person on a trans list I am on even accused me of doing it to win a flame war (she must have a high opinion of herself if she things I would spend 15K just to have the last word!) because I seemed to make a major decision so fast.
It bogles my mind when I encounter people that use the net once a week or so. The fastest way to reach me is by email (really! I even have my main account on my cell!) and I usually lose count of how many lists I moderate (to say nothing of the ones I subscribe to!) and sites I routinely visit.
